In addition to the licenses presented here, Unicorn is also available under a free for non-commercial use license. This license is ideal for non-profits and hobbyists.

Full Source Code Access

The publicly available source code for Unicorn is amalgamated. It is intended for non-commercial use, for auditing, and Solopreneur licenses. It is, however, not the preferred form for editing Unicorn. For instance it does not include the code for generating the Unicode® data tables consumed by Unicorn.

When you purchase a Standard or Enterprise license to Unicorn you will be granted access to its complete source code. The complete source code is unamalgamated and includes the unit tests, integration tests, fuzz tests as well as the code that processes the Unicode® data, code that generates the Unicode® data tables consumed by Unicorn, and code that amalgamates Unicorn for public release. The complete source code is required to maintain your own fork of Unicorn.

The unit, integration, and fuzz tests for Unicorn depend on Audition which is not included with your purchase of Unicorn. If you wish to maintain the tests, then you must either purchase a license to Audition or migrate the tests to your preferred testing framework.
